Yes synthetic is more slippier and you don't use it to break in a car. Also if it came already in there your car was already probably broken into in a dyno.
Synthetic is not "more slippier"

You're full of shit dude. New ferrari's and bmw's and mercs and porsches and honda's and etc. and formula 1 cars run synthetics from the start. Along with all the GT race series including the 24 hour lemans endurance races. As do rally cars who undoubtedly put up with more stress than your car ever could imagine seeing.

Please, stop saying "more slippier." That is driving me up the fu*kin nuts. It doesn't "lube" better either. But it's not worth arguing. You're what, 14? Do you even OWN a car?

I stick with Mann from Bavarian Automotive on my BMWs also. For other vehicles, I use Mobil 1 filter if available. Next time you're in the parts store, grab a Fram in one hand and a Mobil 1 in the other. You can feel the weight difference. Most of that is due to more filter media. K&N's are closer to Mobil 1 than they are to Fram. Problem is Mobil 1 just makes the most popular applications. They used to make one for my wife's 99 VW Passat, but they've quit, so we've gone to K & N. Too bad Bavarian Automotive doesn't carry VW parts. I'm not up to date on my German geography, but I guess VW's aren't made in Bavaria.
