Here's what happened when some teenage child went 60ish through our 35mph zone. Broken pelvis, broken leg, lost eye. Lots of pain. And she didn't deserve any of it.

Looking for sympathy? Look somewhere else! I hope you never get behind a wheel again, ever.
i feel your pain i had a dog get its leg borken by a lady doing 45 in a 30 she had to get a pink cast on her leg

I dont care about speeding on open highways that arnt around any housing or schools!!

But once you see a [Censored][Censored][Censored][Censored]er in a viper hit a baby dear and do nothing you get really [Censored][Censored][Censored][Censored]ING MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDD[mad] [kick] [boxface] [hatchet] [chair]

I HOPE YOUR INSURANCE GOES THROUGH THE ROOF!!

Yeah, I'm pretty strict about not speeding in local areas. In 25 zones I go 30, in 35 zones I go 40 - 45, and in 40 zones, I go 50. On the highways I speed a little bit, but nothing faster than the way the left lane is moving. Why did I go so fast that one night over the winter? I don't know, I just had the urge...I believe it was the night I just got my Neuspeed short shift kit installed and I wanted to give it a good run. [:D]
Oh well, I really regret ever doing it, and the day after I got the ticket, I bought the Escort Passport 8500 radar detector...but even with the radar, I just don't speed....I'm too scared. [V]

No offense, I feel for the cat, but that pic is priceless. I've never seen a cat with a cast on before. I love cats, so I know how you feel about it getting hurt.
Well, here's another one. Picture didn't come out too good, because the flash scared the H out of her..

We have foster kids we're adopting, and Child Protective Services knows we love cats.. so they found this one in a house they had to yank the kids out of, and asked us if we'd take her, which of course we did. She has a rear leg which has been snapped in three places. Sigh. Sorry about the lousy quality of the picture.....

She's 6 weeks old.

If you ever get a fish get a betta there really cool because they will try to kill you lol
The name of the fish is "betta"? Well, betta rhymes with Jetta, so there's no f*cking way I'll ever get that fish.

Yeah, the young kitties all look like that.. everything in the world is new to them.. and they are really intense about checking it all out! [:D]

They're sure resiliant little creatures.. they bounce back from almost anything. This one insists on lying on our bed with us as we sleep.. risking us rolling over on top of her! I dunno what happens.. in the morning she's fine... must scoot out of our way as we roll over! [rolleyes]

My buddy at work says that someday I'll have a place in cat heaven, if not in the regular human heaven. [:D]

Who knows? Maybe someday they'll all vouch for me, and St. Peter will say "What the heck, let's let him in."

LOL!

Actually, I believe it rhymes with "see you laytah" or "playa haytah"

I know its off topic, but I hate to see my recent thread languishing in obscurity, so please stop by and tell me what you think of the pics (no 56k, they are quite large).

do you smoke illegal stuff? [confused]

nice car btw. i would really like to ride in one of them.
I am a little confused as to why you would ask the first question.

As to the second, there are lots of NSXers in your area. Go on www.nsxprime.com and you might find one that will give you a ride. If you are in Wisco I'd be more than happy to oblige.

No worries.

The point I was making is Betta is pronounced Bay-tah, not Beh-tah, so it doesn't rhyme with Jetta.

My closing statement for this topic:
For all of you who gave me advice, I very much appreciate your help. I am now going into court with more confidence. Fortunately, my lawyer has a battle plan (he knows the prosecutor personally) so I should be okay.
For all those of you who think I am a bad person, please understand it from my side. I have been driving for 3 years, I have never received a ticket for a moving violation and I have never had an accident. It was late at night on a 4-lane road (2 lanes on each side), I was the only car on the road, I am a young and energetic teenager who loves cars and driving, and I had just gotten my short shift kit installed on my Jetta. I always try to stay within the speed limit, but this time I was just too tempted to try out my newly-installed short shift kit...conditions seemed too perfect, but I guess not perfect enough, since I got caught. I am completely drug-free and I NEVER EVER drink and drive, and I am always withhin 5-10mph above the speed limit. I am also very strict about keeping my speed in check on 25mph and other residential/commercial zones, even if it means holding traffic up (apparently people get impatient when they decide that 30mph in a 25mph zone just isn't fast enough). In the end, thanks. For all those of you who are disappointed in me or whatever, I hope we can share better experiences on this forum in the future. Cheers.
