Window falling off track

I've had both front windows fall off track, and repaired under
warranty. Out of warranty now. Is it an easy fix? I'm worried
about the side air bags going off if I pull the door panel. Any

Do you close your door by pushing the window or the door?

I always use the handle to close the door...and I never slam it. It has happened first to the driver side and then the passenger side, once driving down a freeway onramp and once driving down a bumpy back road at speed. I usually do minor BMW repair work myself (2002, Bavaria water pumps, brakes, oil...etc) so I'd like to see if I can work on a newer vehicle. I just need some info on the window regulator.
