I've been overseas for close to 6 months supporting the military. With the money saved up, I plan to treat myself for the working conditions I've been under with a new sport sedan. I've looked long and hard at the 330i for the past year. I've test driven a few and I've never driven a sweeter car. The 6-speed is the smoothest I've ever touched. The only thing that's held me back has been the price.
What I've looked for is appearance, power, luxury, handling, gas-mileage, reliability, quality, value/resale and of course price.
The decision is basically down to two choices.
330i sedan Oxford Green/Natural Brown
Premium & Sport Package w/Xenon
or
Infiniti G35 sport sedan 6MT Desert Platinum/Graphite Leather
Premium Package w/aerodynamic kit

Help me out fellas. I'm sure that thoughts & opinions may be biased being on a bmw site, but hopefully I can get some honest opinions. I've never driven the G35, but have read great reviews and it seems to have everything that I want for about 5k less than the 330i. However the 330i still whispers at me with it's looks and the thoughts of the way it drives.
I mulled the Performance package in the 330i for a while, but couldn't see paying that much more for 10 extra horses and I had no idea whether I'd like the Alcantara.
Any thoughts or opinions are welcome. Especially if you've driven both. MrEllusive get in this one.

G35 sedan - Pluses = more room and cheaper. Minuses = uglier and crappier interior
330i - I think it only loses out to the G35 on price and possibly quality according to your list.

I've driven a 330Ci and G35 Coupe. The coupe is MUCH nicer than the G35 sedan IMO. I've ridden in a sedan several times tho. My g/f's cousin has one. Not very impressive at all. And I dunno what he was smoking, but he bought it in gold too.

Thanks Vance. You can see I'm new to this board; I just came across it today. You're searches are just what I was looking for. I'm still reading through the old posts. Thanks again.
I'll let y'all know what I decide.
