I have a 1998 UK Spec 328 Sport Coupe - fully loaded except for Rear Parking Distance Control (PDC).
So I got the 4 rear bumper (fender) sensors, the back bumper rubbing strips, the wire loom that connects the 4 sensors to the PDC 'black box' Part number 66 21 8 381 089. PDC black box is definately the correct BMW part for the PDC.
I was told by BMW dealer that my car was wired up for PDC. However, having spent hours looking for the car wiring connector - I cant find it.
So, how easy is it to wire up the PDC black box. It can't be that hard (he says niaivly), all it needs is +12V, chassis earth, a sense line from reverse light or reverse switch and wires to a speaker - not rocket science, but this is a BMW so who knows.
I cannot get wiring diagrams from BMW dealer, has anyone done this what seems like a simple job....help or info would be much appreciated.
