I want more power. I drive a 318is (99), now it is OK but I would prefer more power. So, I enquired on engine upgrade to 328 but this is provin to be pretty immpossible. However tryin to sell ma car is also hard so i cant sell and buy another. However I was thinkin that would it all be possible to add modifications that won't effectively destroy my engine? I would like to take the power to the 200-220 bhp figure. What should I do to upgrade the performance and how should I do it? Also how much will I roughly be spending to achieve all this? Any advice is appreciated. May I also mention, I have always been led to beleive that modifying an engine will always make the engine prone to problems.

if you really want power youll be better off selling the 318. some dude on here s/ced his 318 and it "barely" kept up with a 325...as i recall.
